Golden Buckeye Card

Golden Buckeye Card holders can get discounts at many businesses and restaurants in Ohio.

Eligibility: Ohioans 60+ and age 18 - 59 with permanent and total disabilities.

Application Process: Call 866-301-6446 or visit a library or senior center to fill out an application.

Premium or Deductible: No.

Discount: 30-40%

Additional Benefit: Merchant discounts at over 20,000 businesses.

Strengths: Drug pricing and pharmacy locations available at www.OhioBestRx.org or 866-923-7879. Can be used in Medicare Part D coverage gap or "doughnut hole." Mail order option available.

TARTA Bus Cards

Reduced fares are available on Toledo Area regional Transit Authority (TARTA) buses for those over age 65, just show your Medicare card. Free color-coded, monthly passes for TARTA are available at Senior Nutrition Sites for transportation to sites on regular bus routes in Toledo, Monday through Friday, 10:30am - 1:30pm.
