Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program Applications are now available!


If you received coupons last year, an application was mailed on May 20, 2014.
The Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program provides $50 worth of coupons to eligible adults 60 years of age or over to purchase locally grown, fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and honey from local farmers.
You are eligible if you:


a. Are 60 years of age or older by July 1, 2014
b. Are a resident of Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Sandusky, Seneca, Williams, or Wood County, or the city of Fostoria, Ohio and
c. Have an annual income of:
i. $0 - $21,590 if you live alone
ii. $0 - $29,101 for a household of two
iii. Please see application for income guidelines for households of 3 or more


You may download and print an application here, pick up an application from a local senior center or call our office for assistance. Please return your completed application to our office, promptly. Applications are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.


We are expeditiously processing applications to mail $50 worth of coupons for locally grown, fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and honey in July. This will be just in time for the abundant amount of produce available in July and August. After July 15, coupons will be mailed as applications are processed.


This project has been funded at least in part with Federal funds from the US Department of Agriculture and the support of the Ohio Department of Aging and the Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio, Inc.
