Tai Ji Quan: Moving for Better Balance (TJQMBB) is an evidence based training program that is designed for older adults at risk for falling and for people with balance disorders. It has been proven effective in contributing to improvements in balance and falls risk. TJQMBB is a twenty four week course that utilizes traditional Tai Chi forms to improve both strength and balance. The forms can be done seated, next to a chair for added balance or with any assistive device. Classes are twice a week for one hour(Monday and Thursday).
